Live Nation Entertainment just announced their collectible NFTs called ‘Live Stubs’. They will be featured in selected shows of the entertainment company starting with Swedish House Mafia‘s 2022 world tour, with Lollapalooza, EDC and Governors Ball following in their footsteps.

“Live Stubs digital collectible NFTs will mirror the unique section, row, and seat of each ticket purchased, which it says opens up a whole new world of possibilities.  Live Stubs offers artists a turnkey solution to share NFTs, with the company collaborating directly with artists on the NFT drops, which include special experiences and rewards along with the digital tokens,” explains Ryan Borba from Pollstar.

Swedish House Mafia’s Paradise Again Tour will be their first in the past ten years. Needless to say, fans are excited. Those who purchase the Live Stubs NFTs will get tickets to tour stops, however digital tickets will still be required to enter the shows.

According to Live Nation Entertainment CEO Michael Rapino, the NFTs are minted on an eco-friendly blockchain that minimizes the carbon footprint. “Our Live Stubs product brings back the nostalgia of collecting ticket stubs while also giving artists a new tool to deepen that relationship with their fans and we can’t wait to see what the creativity of this community dreams up as it grows,” he said.
